A year ago I wrote an article about self healing and today I want to focus on how the healing works and leave it up to you to use that information in your own life or the life of someone close to you.
Recently, well for several years now that I come to mention it, I have a recurring pain that I suspect is either related to testicular or prostate changes, either way means trouble ahead. The pain is a warning to me. I especially get it when I try to turn over in bed sometimes and it often halts me in my tracks as I try to do so and I end up having turn very carefully instead of spontaneously.
Why don't I go to a doctor? What would happen? Examination and ok or not ok and go for tests and then the offer of treatment which is fairly brutal in either case (if there is disease especially if it is malignant). I don't have a problem with dying prematurely but I do have a problem with everything that is involved with that scenario and that is why I don't even give it much thought.
But this morning before I really awoke but this pain actually wakes me up, I decided to do something actively so I just visualised the problem so that my overself could begin to know about it and see that I wanted to deal with it. I will probably need to do the same thing a few times more but I know that this is by far the best method.
This is all you really need to do too. Communicate your problem to your Overself. Most people reading this, adults anyway, won't do that because they don't believe in the overself but if that is you then I suggest doing some research into spontaneous recovery and remission cases especially if they are NDE related (Near Death Experiences).
That should incline you towards double checking your disbelief or rejection which is really necessary for the visualisation to work. Visualisation is not necessarily the only method. The power of suggestion can work, does work, and in that case much the same thing is happening - you are sending a visualised message to your own overself.
My recommendation is to read about cases where 'miracle' cures and the like have happened especially where the patient has self healed. This will aid your understanding and help you to realize that such things are not only possible, everyone can avail themselves of this kind of magic.
Years ago I read a book by a man who practised something similar - I don't think he was aware of the overself but was aware of the power of the mind or the power of thought or the power of suggestion. These things, this power is very real. He healed himself of several serious diseases.
If you currently have a mocking attitude to the subject then you don't stand much chance of success although you could still get it by getting the help of a hypnotherapist who knows what he or she is actually doing, if you can find such a person and I don't think most of them really do know much about what they are doing other than it works or can do.
The way forward if you tend to reject this information - which is understandable in our 'western culture' which poses as scientific (but is just as much belief based as religion is) but doesn't actually do much exploring despite it's own declared ideas - is to do your own research on the subject. Get to the point where you are willing to accept this idea fully in your own life. Once you manage to reach that stage then give it a try.
You can try it anyway. Another personal example. I used to have a recurring varuca on one foot, always in the same place and sometimes it would be painful. With the tips of my two main fingers I would massage it and visualize it disappearing. And yes, it does disappear. I have done that at least three or four times over the decades and it works, it goes rapidly after such treatment.
Whenever you have cut yourself you will notice that it heals without doing anything at all. This is because the body is not on it's own. It is far more than a physical machine. We don't see all the rest because of our limited senses but there is substantially more to it. The fact that healing of a little cut or indeed a big cut happens at all is a miracle. There is no real scientific explanation for it but because the phenomenon is so obvious and consistent we don't even bother to take much notice of what is really happening.
From a formal western scientific knowledge based background this just should not happen but then neither should music exist either or many more things that we take for granted. Based on the known scientific factors we call sound there is no evidence to suggest that something called music could possible exist.
There are many examples like that. Don't be caught up with mass mentality to the extent that your own thoughts are made up of nothing else because if you do then you will make yourself a prisoner in your own mind to the dull prison that so-called science has created in co-aggressivity with the religionists and other repressionists.
When you think about a cut and how it heals note that individual cells are cooperating together to build what has been destroyed without any plans and without any intelligence and without any oversight or command or control. Alternatively please supply these agencies, identify them and locate them. That is the real scientific challenge. Yes, there is DNA and all the rest of the stuff that you find at the physical level - but that's not enough to explain how a cut can be healed.
So when you refuse to consider the reality of the Overself and your Overself in particular, then you are going along with a really stupid philosophy that believes closed eyes are the best cure for blindness.
Suggestion and visualisation are the keys to self healing. Both can be accessed by people who know what they are doing and by people who haven't a clue what they are doing. Both can and do lead to a life spent in the gutter or a life spend on a mountain top. Both can be utilised by you and both can be utilised against you by others. Both ARE constantly being used to some extent every day most usually to get you to behave, especially to get you to spend in a certain way.
But despite all that, both can also be used by YOU. You can use this knowledge to benefit and to heal yourself but you can also use this information to help someone else.
How many times have you heard: "People believe what they want to believe"? Meaning: "Allow me to obstruct the flow of your case" or "Here is a large full-stop (us: period)"
"People believe what they want to believe" is true but people want to believe what suggestion puts into their minds! In other words "People believe what they want to believe" is not really the end of it, it is not the full-stop that it seems to be, far from it, it is just the beginning.
People want to believe what is suitably suggested to them to believe. More fool them if they do not see that coming. And to a large extent we all deserve this new nazi age that we have entered for this single reason. In other words this goes far beyond the personal and affects whole generations and is the very basis of any culture. Where do you think accent and language is based? We each of us hear it and learn it - a process very much suggestion based. Anyway that gives you a flavour of how powerful suggestion and belief really are.
My message then, is to use this knowledge in your own life for healing and beneficial purposes for yourself, for your own mental and physical and emotion health and happiness and also to impinge upon others with some similar effect.
If you find that self healing "doesn't work" it isn't because it doesn't work but because something needs changing. If you are smoking and trying to cure bronchitis then it is probably a good idea to become a non smoker again before you do the self healing, for example. If you drink spirits and have oesophogeal (the tube where the food and drink goes down) cancer then stop drinking spirits before trying to cure the cancer. That's two very simple examples of where you would probably find that self healing "doesn't work" when really you would be ignoring the causative problem. Deal with the cause first - change. Then do the self healing. Take charge and responsibility for your own life.
Will my own attempt at self healing work or will I die of cancer prematurely? I would prefer it if the self healing works but I accept that it may not but I want to be the person who decides this and not hand over my life to others. That may mean that I die of a cureable disease but in that case I will at least have done it at my own deliberate choice. If the pain persists then I will spend more time focussing on the visualisation of healing to the organs that I suspect are degenerating or showing signs of other disease.
The outcome does not prove anything but anyone who thinks I am much interested in proving anything has misunderstood my intentions. I AM far more interested for you to prove to yourself these things. Now that is possible. I don't ask of you that you believe me without doing your own research, in fact I would be disappointed if I had that effect generally on anyone and would much much prefer that I inspire or spark your own interest to find out for sure, as you can do. Being sure for yourself is far better than objective proof.
It is well proved that smoking causes serious disease leading often to death. But children and adolescents take up smoking in droves so what exactly is the value of that proof to them?
People choose to adopt a destructive or healthy behavour pattern for BELIEF reasons and not PROOF reasons. Obvious really, isn't it?
So you adopt ideas that head in the direction of self healing. It's like a path that you choose to begin to walk. One idea, then the next and so on.
I devoted a lot of this article to the mental attitude that is negatively charged towards this idea of self healing because it is a ubiquitous one and serves as a serious obstacle so it needs to be attended to. It doesn't mean that self healing is not possible unless you have an open mind and accept the 'mechanics' behind it but it is better by far if you do. But the choice to believe doesn't mean much on it's own and, I would say, that it is especially a nuisance when it is contrived. A kind of pretend belief because it is fashionable is probably worse than outright rejection. If you read appropriate material and adjust and change your outlook as a result towards greater acceptance then that is ideal and it is actually a much better background to come from, a much better foundation, than blind belief or pretend adoption of a belief out of an underlying desire to be seen as fashionable which it is to be "alternative" anything just about. There is a mountain of difference involved.
Something that seems to more or less automatically happen when you go in the right direction, so to speak, is that you lose a lot of that kind of superficial interest in life - you know, wanting to be seen as fashionable, for example.
Although this article seems, and does, go beyond self healing, it is all pertinent. One's mental outlook and attitude to life and aspects of life are all important. A huge number of people derive their meaning of life from being part of some mass or crowd and I include the religions here but also things like political movements and various institutions. But while they may or may not be good things - and I don't usually see much good in any of them, much - I believe it is a mistake to use those time-occupations and attention-occupiers as excuses for not facing your own life.
Being mature or being an adult really has to do with being willing to face one's own life however painful that is and accepting what we have to and changing what we should do. All the time I see people 'racing around' simply to avoid doing just that.
Then along comes some knock. An accident, a personal disaster, a disease, a cancer, an overwhelming loss. You name it. Why does life have that tendency to do that? Because we are so stubborn in avoiding our obligation to face our own self. And we avoid that because it is painful. And it is painful because we have a false idea of our own self. And yet when we do do it the pain passes and we accept what we see and change what we don't like (we usually can do that).
But beyond that experience is a greater realization, that we each have chosen to have this terrible experience - if it is so terrible - for a reason, to experience and learn from it. When you know this then the disasters that I mentioned don't need to happen because you become 'more in tune' with your own self.
Very often that's the role of the disease. Put another way, disease is nature's way of saying "hey, hold on there just a minute" and the same is true of other personal disasters. Not always but often.
So self healing is best preceded with self knowledge and self acceptance. In fact certain diseases are characteristic of certain personalities and certain personality types.
In fact that last statement deserves a medical textbook in it's own right. I am not exaggerating.
If such a book gets written (or such a database gets filled) we will advance the understanding of disease phenomenally. Meanwhile, on a more individual level. Each of us can spend private time advancing our own understanding of such important knowledge as I have been touching upon quite lightly in this article. This would be one of the best investments you could ever make and while I have concentrated on self healing as the topic, the content also applies in a far more general way too, not just physical health but mental and emotional and not just health but wealth and not just wealth of money but wealth of ideas and wealth more generally.
